DS Anwar Ibrahim wins big time in Permatang Pauh by-election

Personally I don’t like and trust DS Anwar Ibrahim but lets face the reality. He just won the Permatang Pauh by-election with bigger majority (compared to his wife’s majority last time).

Well, he’s the one people in Permatang Pauh want as their leader. So be it …

Let’s just hope that:

  1. He will serve the people or rakyat, NOT otherwise … remember it’s now ketuanan rakyat, NOT ketuanan menteri-menteri
  2. He will not sell this country to whoever wanted to take control of this country … (as allegedly by someone)
  3. He will develop this country. I mean the whole country, not only a particular state or area in favour to him.
  4. He will catalyze the unification of all people in this country, regardless of religion and race, particularly the citizen of Malaysia.

These also apply to every MPs selected by the rakyat. Every MPs should know and do rightfully their responsibilities.

One more thing, DO NOT misuse the mandate given by the rakyat, otherwise you’ll be damned in hell …

Swearing on Quran by Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan …

… brought mixed responses from various political figures in Malaysia. Some agreed, some opposed to it claiming it’s a political tactic to degrade Anwar and possibly to kill his political career.

  1. Nik Aziz said that the swearing thing is not Islamic practice …
  2. Abdul Hadi said it was totally political motivated.
  3. Of course Anwar totally rubbished it, claiming it was a desperate dirty tactic by BN to bring him down. Anwar also accused the police of forcing Saiful to do the swearing.
  4. Anwar’s wife, Azizah said that the swearing thing was done to bring down Anwar.
  5. Tun Dr Mahathir said the swearing showed Saiful’s intent to tell the truth. Mahathir also challenged Anwar to do the same thing (swearing on Quran) …
  6. Najib said it’s up to the public (Muslims) to perceive the swearing thing …
  7. Abdullah’s response? None yet … (I am wondering why Abdullah’s quiet about this. Or is he’s a late picker?) …

Personally I agree to Mahathir’s opinion. I think it’s pretty clear who’s telling the truth and who isn’t. And I think Anwar should do the same thing to prove that he’s innocent. With his long twists since long time ago and his reluctance to swear on Quran made people curious whether the sodomy indeed happened or not …

Update:

Another things to consider to know who’s telling the truth and who’s twisting it …

  1. The first reaction of Anwar when the sodomy news broke was to hide in the Turkish embassy claiming death threat … Now instead of proving the death threat, Anwar has gone public to preach about the so-called conspiracy and political ambitions … so, whatever happened to death threat?
  2. Quick response by Anwar’s wife, Azizah was to show a picture of Saiful with a VIP in Najib’s ministerial office claiming it was a proof that there’s a link between Saiful and the government (therefore validate a so-called conspiracy) … yet so far I never heard of anything to prove it. All I heard was a constant denial by Saiful that it wasn’t a political motivated case.

Why Anwar??? Why???

Here comes the chronology of our messiah … (messiah from Oxford Dictionary means a leader, a saviour) …

  1. Firstly, Saiful acussed him of sodomy. (The whole nation was caught off guard because it came out like a thief in the middle of the night … err … actually people were in the middle of bittermoon of oil price hike)
  2. After hearing the accusation, he quickly hides himself in the Turkish embassy.
  3. When asked about his action, he claimed that he was hiding because there was an assasination plot to kill him … err … is’t true? Unproven case until now (or am I news-blind?) ….
  4. The big guys then promised him about his safety in order to make him get out from the embassy …
  5. He then got himself out from the Turkish embassy …
  6. Next, he launched a counter attack (defamation suit) to Saiful who he claims has wrongly accused him …
  7. Days after, he launched several attacks to some of country’s big guys, especially to the dearest Mr. Big Guy No 2. All cases were made stand up again and covers (?) the One Sodo Mee Case
  8. He and Mr. Big Guy No. 2 launches several counter-attacks …
  9. This including the two Statutory Declarations … Bala, the SD man eventually chickened out and run away for his life …
  10. The ulamaks then suggested an alternative method to justify the sodomy case, by swearing to God (for both accuser and accused) …
  11. He agrees,  … Saiful eagerly agrees too …
  12. But then he said, this swearing thing is not right … we must do it at the Syariah court. His lawyers defended him about this decision ….
  13. …………… *I am missing link here because I was to tired (and annoyed) to follow all cases* …
  14. Next, police demanded him to appear at the police station to extract his statements regarding the sodomy case …
  15. He agreed, but then refused … then agreed again, and then refused again …
  16. In the meantime, he got neck-to-neck with a somebody debating the oil price issue, live on TV (but the airtime was then changed) …
  17. Police obtained an arrest warrant to make him go to police station to give statement …
  18. Current watch …

A bit*h and a running dog: Who’s better?

A bitch could be useful, no? How about a running dog? A running dog with its tail between its legs …

Which dog you prefer?

I think I am just gonna have both dogs to eat my faeces.

… just kidding.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim panicked?

Snippets and thoughts from Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad

Filed under: Miscellaneous, Politics, Thoughts — J Martin @ 12:03 pm

Actually I’ve been visiting and reading his blog since long time ago (almost the time when he first created the blog) but I felt it just unnecessary to tell people about it. People are smart today, they don’t need to be told something about little things coz they will eventually find it …

I think it’s good to read his blog coz there are a lot of thoughts regarding the current issues in Malaysia … (well, that’s if you are interested to know the development of Malaysian politics and news on his eyes) …

I am not a fanatic of anyone (especially political figures) in Malaysia but I think it’s interesting to know how their brain work …

Current political woes, sodomy case and etc

True said, reading/following the current political woes and sodomy case will make you puke. Both sides never seem to cease bickering at each other, bringing headaches to rakyat .. so many twists, so many lies, so many disgusting theories … that’s not including biased responses and comments from public … some of them apparently are fanatics to a particular side … oh my …

It made me feel that Malaysians nowadays are scoring very high on racist level, prejudices and etc … Can’t they think clearly? Can’t they off themselves from idolizing the ‘musang berbulu ayam’? What made them so blind? Can’t they see all sides?

Like many bloggers out there, perhaps it’s good to stop following these issues. These dirty stuffs are only making our headaches getting worse …

Two third is on Anwar side

Filed under: News, Politics — J Martin @ 12:17 pm

According to mstar, two third of the correspondence (I’m not included) of a recent survey agreed that the recent Anwar’s sodomy issue was aimed to kill his political career.

While I agree to some extent, since the truth hasn’t come out yet, so nothing can be said. If he’s found innocent, it’s yes, but if he indeed did that ‘thing’, I think it’s just a political suicide. Nobody else should be blamed …

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim vs. Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan

Filed under: News, Politics — J Martin @ 10:35 pm

Big shark vs small fry … Defamation suit vs police report … Who’s gonna win?

Put into Wimbledon game, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is the first seed, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan is only a wild card, … but who knows? Perhaps we can watch a show here like what did Jie Zheng vs. Ana Ivanovic (Wimbledon 2008) …

Seeded first is not necessarily a guarantee to win. While many people tend to idolise the first seed, I personally would love to see the wild card beats the first seed. No offense but I think it’s much more interesting than those already expected. But let the game rolls to see who really really deserve to win. And of course, that game must be fair, right? …

I just hope that my instinct is right … let us just wait and see …

Local interests

It’s regarding local politics and my very own home state …

  1. Oil royalty from 5% to 20%. But another recent news reported that the royalties to oil-producing states will not be reviewed, meaning the old and pitiful 5% will stay. Who to blame?
  2. Illegal immigrants from neighbouring countries … This has been long reported and complained to Gov but … (wondering, is there any action taken yet?) … Or maybe it is illegal to talk about these illegals?? Who knows?
  3. Some low class MPs. How come they ever qualified to be representatives in the Parliment with such low-class/stupid/uncivilized attitudes? Oh, I see .. It’s the election, right?
  4. Where should I put my next words? I am already feeling illegal here …

Basement into politics

Personally I think we need to read a lot about politics. It’s about fighting for our rights without getting into it blindly. We need to know the truths …

Just now I found a blog, linking to so many websites and blogs about politics (and many more) primarily in Malaysia.

Who really created the fear?

Big xXx was a corrupt man. Yet, nobody’s taking any action against him. Small A is a dedicated, honest and strong man. Small A criticized Big xXx for the corruptions he have done to the country. But everybody’s starting to blame Small A for creating ‘fear’ and ‘instability’ among the people. They fear that by bringing down Big xXx, everything else will go down also … thus, by keeping Big A stand still, so-called ‘peace’ will continue ….

So, Small A have to speak by himself. He tried so hard to bring people to notice the corruptions and scandals Big xXx is involved. But while everybody started to understand the situations, they choose to keep silent still. For them, remaining silent is the best way to keep the county in ‘peace’.

But who suffers at last? Big xXx becomes super rich and super arrogant … he even got the ultimate power to control the people … he knows the people were and always be STUPID ….

Not the end of the story because it’s still going on and on …

What’s my rights?

Until now I don’t know exactly what’s my rights as a rightful citizen of Malaysia. Am I free to speak about anything without having to worry about ISA or something like that? In the past, those who ‘offend’ the government will be detained under ISA, or at least by police.

There’s a phrase – freedom of speech. But do I really have the freedom to talk anything I like, or anything I don’t like about government?

Only those in power have the right to say anything they wanted to say, and tell people to follow their order …

Me, as a minor, perhaps can only bring a little or worse none at all, to the future … This is NOT TRUE, I hope …

Even in my workplace (cum study-place), the big boss always have the final word of whatever decision … and most of it are concerning his own thing only … he’s the big shark, and we are the small fry … he can do whatever he wanted to do and as he wish … but I hope in the future he’ll shot down so he can feel whatever sufferings we have under his rule … hehehe
