AirAsia to charge luggage check-in fee

Said reason was to defray up to 10% of the fuel cost. Haven’t they got enough revenue? Profits of AirAsia are beyond many thoughts … Now they want to rake up more and more money from poor people like me …

Quote “according to Fernandes (the big boss of AirAsia), charging the fee for check-in baggage made more sense than charging everyone an additional fuel surcharge, which was what other airlines were doing” … So is this means that we don’t need to pay fuel surcharge anymore? If that so, well … good, because fuel surcharge sometimes costs more than the ‘ticket price’ itself …
