Mountain Torq – World’s Highest and Asia’s First Via Ferrata

I was like, wow when I heard about the Mountain Torq for the first time! … New routes to climb Mt. Kinabalu? Wow! … sounds very exciting!

It’s already a customary to have these two old paths to climb Mt. Kinabalu … Sound boring? No?

Alright alright ….

So, anyone out there who wants to climb Mount Kinabalu for the last time (or first), it’s encouraged to take a look at these new paths, which perhaps offer new sights for your own good!

Good luck!

Click HERE to visit the ‘official’ website, and also the ‘previews‘ of the new paths.

  1. The climbing costs total up to above RM400 now with the normal 2D1N normal climb. How much will that be with additional pay for trying the via ferrata? No refund if weather not allow to proceed.

  2. I was told that Mountain Torq will normally delayed departure, or advise participants to do shorter via ferrata if there is bad weather. They will also give voucher for those who effected by foul weather. So,.. not to worry.
